The two-day format required hundreds of thousands of dollars to run, and attendance alone couldn't sustain it long-term. So we're channeling everything that worked into one unforgettable night — with a fresh theme each year to keep it exciting.

Why did Hop Country Music Festival become Hop Country Live?
The two-day festival required a major investment each year, and support through attendance, sponsorships, and participation wasn't enough to sustain it going forward. Hop Country Live channels that same mission — supporting local youth sports — into one high-energy evening instead, with a new theme.
Is it still a two-day event, or is it just one night?
Just one night — October 17, 2026.
Is camping still available?
No, camping will not be available.
What can I bring into the concert?
Bring the essentials! Small bags, phones, and other personal items are welcome. Outside food and beverages, coolers, weapons, and other prohibited items are not permitted. All bags are subject to inspection upon entry.
What is the event date and location?
Hop Country Live takes place October 17, 2026, at Sozo Sports Complex, 2200 S 36th Ave, Yakima, WA 98903, in the field house.
Is there an age restriction
Yes. This event is 21+.
Will there be alcohol available?
Yes, we will have beer, wine, cocktails, and fun tropical beverages.
Will there be parking available, and is it free?
Yes, parking is free.
What should I wear?
Since it's the Luau Edition — Hawaiian shirts, floral print, and tropical-casual attire are encouraged. This is an indoor event, but layers for cooler fall temps are a good idea.
Where do proceeds from ticket sales go?
Proceeds directly support Sozo Sports programs and initiatives that help more local youth get involved in sports and recreation.
