October Is Here: Hop Country Live Is Almost Here!
The wait is almost over. Hop Country Live is happening October 17, 2026, at Sozo Sports Complex in Yakima, and we’re putting the finishing touches on what will be a completely new kind of Hop Country experience. After months of planning, we’re getting ready to transform our indoor gym into a tropical evening of live entertainment for approximately 600 guests—and we cannot wait to finally open the doors.
The evening begins with Whiskey Talkin’, one of the Pacific Northwest’s hottest country bands, bringing the country music energy to Yakima before our headliner takes the stage. Then it’s time for The Beach Boys. Their music has crossed generations, filled road-trip playlists, and provided the soundtrack to countless summers. Now Yakima has the opportunity to experience those songs live in an intimate indoor setting right here in Central Washington.
Hop Country Live will be about the whole evening, not simply the concert. Guests can dress for the occasion in Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops and enjoy a festive luau, food, drinks, friends, and great music. Because the event is 21+, the entire space can be designed around one seamless experience for our guests. And because we’re indoors, October weather can do whatever October weather wants. We’ll be having a luau either way.
For those still deciding whether to attend, now is the time to make your plans. Premier tables are $2,000 for 10 guests, while VIP tables are $2,500 for 10 guests. With only around 600 people able to attend, Hop Country Live is intentionally much more limited than the outdoor Hop Country events of previous years. That smaller size is part of what makes this year special, but it also means there simply aren’t thousands of spots available.
If you’ve been searching for things to do in Yakima this October, The Beach Boys in Washington, live music in Central Washington, Yakima concerts, or a unique donor event that supports a great local cause, we hope you’ll join us. Every table helps Sozo Sports continue creating opportunities for local youth. October 17 is almost here. Grab your Hawaiian shirt, gather nine of your favorite people, and get ready for Hop Country Live.
